I drive by the front of this farm everyday. One day, I decided to turn off my normal route and check it out from the back. I was not disappointed with my decision.
I love to paint cows. I’ve been doing it for years using acrylics. These days, I’m working more in watercolors, so I decided it was time for a cow or two. This is my first attempt. Most of my acrylic paintings are more abstract, and the subject takes up most of the canvas. With watercolors, I tend to add more details and pay more attention to the background. My compositions are more all-encompassing. I’m slowly finding the balance between detail and style. And I’m having a lot of fun learning to paint clouds!
