The Creativity of a Child

I love the fact that my eight-year-old daughter has finally abandoned the idea that when she draws or paints her work should look just like her reference material! She is finally embracing her natural creativity and enjoying the results of translating her reference into something that is uniquely hers. Yesterday we painted together. She chose a photo of a Great Dane for her reference. This is the result… Foo Foo Dane!
